What to Expect

Appointments are usually about 50 minutes in length.  Our initial visit will be a detailed assessment which involves me asking a lot of questions about your history, background and strengths.  This is done as a way of helping me understand you and your goals of therapy.

Office hours are available by appointment only. I offer both in person and telehealth appointments.

I am currently in network with Medicaid/Husky, United Healthcare, Connecticare and Cigna insurance.  I also work with out of network providers. Payment is due at the time of your appointment and can be rendered in the form of cash, check or credit card. You are also welcome to utilize your HSA or FSA accounts.

While at first it might be uncomfortable to speak about such private matters, you will learn that I offer a warm, non-judgmental and authentic approach.  I never underestimate the power of a sense of humor and flexibility with my clients.  This is your time and your journey; if there is something specific you are requesting that I'm not offering I want to know.  You are the driver in this car; I'm just helping to navigate.
